Woodward Lodge appoints pre-planning committee.

October 1955
Woodward Lodge's pre-planning committee reports - insofar as Woodward Lodge is concerned - "A move is a must!"

December 1955
Woodward Lodge appoints a location committee.

January 1957
Woodward Masonic Temple Co. sets up Lyndhurst Temple Committee.

May 1957
Property at 5516 Mayfield Road purchased. Architect selected, plans started.

March 1958
Stock goes on sale.

April 1958
Investor prospectus entitled A Move is a Must is released.

Woodward Temple (East 105 & Euclid) sold.

October 1960
Woodward Temple vacated.

October 23, 1960
Ground Breaking ceremonies.

February 1, 1961
Actual construction started.

May 14, 1961
Conerstone laying ceremonies.

Lyndhurst Temple changes name to Lyndhurst Masonic Center.
